{Giveaway} Brick House & Bryant Park Bundle!
So this is our last blogiversary giveaway. Sniff, sniff. It's been fun, but I wish you all had a prize. That's the rub with giveaways - I know! Well, some of you nice people have mentioned that this week has been inspiring even when you don't win, and I agree. I'm overflowing with new stitchy ideas. Yeah!
Today I'm basking in the freedom of creating my own custom bundle with nary a thought for collection or designer. As before, I started with an inspiration fabric. Something with several colors. Something that deserves attention. Something that says "Spring!". And, I landed on this lovely print from Bryant Park by Kristian Howell. I love how it looks in the Brick House medallion!
Building out from there, I scoured Fresh Squeezed Fabrics for fabric friends in that bright coral-red, yellow and sage-y green. Naturally, a few other prints from Bryant Park where shoo-ins. But several other designers and collections landed in my custom bundle, including Metro Circles in Gray, several Parisville pretties and those Measuring Tapes, which been on my wish-list for quite some time.
I do love this bundle! It contains a total of 11 prints, the two shown in the medallion will be cut in 1/2 yards and the remaining 9 in fat quarters - everything you need to make a Brick House quilt top, except for the solid sashing of your choice. Once again, I'm showing sashing in linen. Did I mention I like linen? I think so. You can find it offered for sale at Fresh Squeezed Fabrics too.
Done up in my Brick House quilt pattern, this Bryant Park bundle will come together quickly. Big "brick" cuts show off gorgeous florals so nicely. I think I need to make another one of these quilts, folks! Good thing there are a few new pregnancies floating around these parts. Gotta love those babies for giving us new reasons to sew! (Gotta love those babies regardless. Oooh, I love babies. If you have a baby, please stop now and smile at your good fortune.) What was I saying?
Enter to win! To enter, simply add your comment to this post before 8 am Saturday morning (EST). If you're a "no reply" commenter, remember to include your email address in your comment so that I can contact you should you win! I will announce the winner tomorrow morning and then we'll get on with some more Stitched in Color. Thank-you for joining me in the new bloggy year!!!!
