Loulouthi Tiles {Fabric}
It's here-errrrr! My choices for the large-sized Loulouthi Tiles quilt have arrived. And, well, I'm just a little excited.
These are the fabrics that make up the smaller tiles:
What, you can't see them well enough?
And these are the 3 larger scale prints that are framed with hand-quilting in our design:
I hope you'll be joining me for a Loulouthi Tiles quilt, in Loulouthi by Anna Maria Horner or using large scale prints of your choice! You can find details on quilt design here, as well as several versions to choose from. Custom Loulouthi Tiles fabric bundles are available at Sew Love Fabrics, Marmalade Fabrics and Whipstitch. Hopefully, you'll be receiving your fabrics soon too, because I'll be cutting next week!
For now, let's prewash these beauties. I always, always, always prewash because I like to know that all my fabrics are (mostly) chemical-free and preshrunk. For detailed prewashing instructions check out this post in last year's "Stitch Your Life" series for those getting started with sewing. By the way, if you have any suggestions of essential "get started" topics that you'd like me to cover, I'm thinking of adding to my Stitch Your Life series this summer. Let me know!!!
Alrighty, I'm going to go bind up Rainbow Craze. It's high time this one was finished!
