Celebrate Color {Hooked Hot Pads}
Today I have Penny from Sew Take a Hike visiting to share a tutorial as part of Celebrate Color. I asked Penny for a crocheted tutorial, but she went and used some fabric as well. What can I say. She's my kind of lady!
If you're new to crochet or looking for a reason to learn, I think Penny's Hooked & Bound Hot Pads are just the thing. It's such a small, manageable chunk of crochet, and really makes such a great potholder since you've got the squishy, comfy crochet and insulbrite batting for heat protection. If you haven't already, also check out Cratfyminx, who's hosting a free crochet school in video tutorials right from the very most basics about hooks and yarn. It's an awesome resource!
Visit Penny for all the details to make this cute, useful little project. Thanks, Penny!
If you missed it, check out more details on Celebrate Color here. We've collected lots of fall-inspired tutorials and lovely inspiration, not to mention links to so many cool crafty blogs through the photo pools. Fun stuff!
Alrighty folks, I'm off to go Make. Wishing the same to you!
