Our homes become a cozy shelter on misty days, a dry haven from the cares of the world. With quilts and shawls, sweaters and mittens, we wrap ourselves in fibers that bring physical warmth and colorful comfort. Just like persimmons and plums - comfort fruit, baked in rich pies and cookies to sweeten the blustery world.
Persimmons and plums are lush. Rich in flavor, color and texture. Like the harvest itself, these colors represent a delightful abundance.
So let’s have an autumn party. It’s a harvest hue soirée! You bring the candy corn colors and I’ll bring some fabric dessert for our winners!
