The Seedlings Quilt-along + Giveaway
If you’ve been reading along, you’ve already heard me gush about Jodi Godfrey’s new book, The Seedling Quilts. But did you know that she’s hosting a quilt-along this fall?
Well, at least it starts this fall! The quilt-along is designed to create community around anyone sewing a project from the book. It’s really perfect for those sewing the Seedlings Quilt, which features all the book’s designs in one happy sampler.
The quilt-along officially launches this October and extends through March, if you’re making the sampler quilt. Otherwise, if you’re making one of the other projects from the book, you can jump in when your project is featured. See Jodi’s blog post for the complete schedule.
Of course, there are lots of fabulous prizes in the queue for those sewing along. There are fabrics, notions, books (my book too!) and a subscription to the 2020 Tales of Cloth BOM club as the grand finale.
If you have a copy of the book, don’t wait for “someday” to get started. Use the Seedlings QAL as your prompt to really dive in and start making something beautiful! If you don’t have a copy of the book, well now’s the time! You can still receive it in time to join in on any of the quilt-along project sessions, or maybe you’ll decide to sample them all via the Seedlings Quilt.
You can buy The Seedlings Quilts book and kits at Jodi’s shop. The papers for the panels are also available separately, if you’d just like to dabble with a pillow or table runner. You can also get the book on Amazon and use the templates provided in the book, or shapes you already have at home or can buy locally!
