What's in store for you in Issue 53?

FABRIC. Sigh… swoon… fabric. Is there any other word that evokes as much pleasure for a quilter? Just say the word and you’re transported to a world of colourful bolts of crisp cottons, all screaming with potential. Fabric is the foundation of our craft, and for many, the curation of a beautiful stash is as big a part of our hobby as the piecing or quilting. Most of us have plenty of fabric – maybe more than we’ll ever use. And yet we can’t resist adding to our collections. (No judgement here)!

But the art of the fabric pull and translating a pattern into a finished quilt can be a stumbling block. Do you use solids or prints? One collection, or everything but the kitchen sink?
