Dear Roy is a playful quilt pattern ideal for developing your relationship with color. Selecting fabrics and finding their place in the color wheel is a slow, meditative process that invites you to compare, consider and explore.

Are you new to sewing curves? Don’t let that stop you! This quilt pattern is based on one of the simplest curved blocks and there’s enough repetition here to allow you to conquer those fears. Dear Roy is a good project for the intermediate quilter, who already has experience with patchwork. It’s scrap-friendly and also works well with layer cakes and fat quarters.
