Triangles can be tricky to sew, but not these triangles! Thanks to a user-friendly and efficient construction process, each and every triangle point will remain sharp on your Teeter Totter quilt. This pattern is great for beginners. It's an ideal way to use your triangle scraps too!

Your Teeter Totter quilt can be sewn with a consistent background fabric, as with the cover quilt. This emphasizes the triangles. Alternatively, make the background fabric the star of the show by creating an ombré blend! As part of my Color Mentor series, the Teeter Totter pattern encourages you to broaden your horizons with an ombré colored background. This creates a strong theme, which is especially handy for a scrap quilt.

Teeter Totter is a scrap and precut-friendly pattern. To save time, you can use 1 1/2” wide precut fabric rolls for all the sashing! The triangles are ideal for scraps, but you can also sew them from charm squares, fat quarters or fat eighths.
