the Last
I promise, promise, promise these are the last. In one final surge of journal-making energy, I crafted these covered journals last week...
The Last bright, scrappy conconctions. These inspired by those adorable Ric Rac Rabbits, available at Fabricworm.
Pressed and tagged after the mock-up with the help of my girlfriends. Prices on the back of each tag.
The Last typewriters, in Streamlined
...and in Vintage Sweet with Memoir text backgrounds from Madrona Road. The text prints are already hard to find, but I just found the charcoal at Intrepid Thread and the white at Lark Cottons.
One with a very soft flannel back. Yum.
The Last "new idea" in my covered journal series, inspired by that photo. Her name is Rosey.
Because journals want petting and so rarely need a wash.
The Last wall art piece. I quite preferred it as a journal cover, actually. Which may explain why it was the last... I haven't shown you all the wall art I made. Only my favorites got the spotlight. I made a total of 10 pieces, which fit just so in this large box.
I cannot tell you how nice it feels to have all my inventory pressed, de-linted, tagged and boxed. Look at all those covered journals tidily stacked away! I still have a few misc. things to do, but being "done" with the making phase is really welcome. I'm definitely not one of those folks that makes a slew of things in the days before a show. My mind's actually running ahead to other things. To future schemes.
Ok, but there is a small part of me that's tempted to make one last journal cover.
