making Rainbows

Now that they're sorted, those triangle scraps are actually tempting!  Today I'm turning my smallest, uneven-shaped bits into a bit of fun for the back of that Tilt-a-whirl quilt.



I'm telling you, I would never have thought "Hey, paper piecing triangles would be fun!" if it hadn't been for my experience with the Penny Sampler.  Designing and teaching a class widens my horizons every time.  So thanks for that, friends!

This work is slow, but rewarding.  No need to trim in advance!  I'm seeing that paper piecing has lots of scrap-friendly potential!
