whisper
An unwanted skirt...
plus fabrics on hand...
equal just a Whisper.
I can hardly hear my voice in this. It whispers of spring - a season not approaching round here, a color scheme inspired by another artist. It makes me feel lost. Who is this for? I am glad to see the skirt take on a new life, but I really won't be satisfied until it finds a meaningful home.
This seems to be a refrain of mine. I definitely prefer to make quilts for someone, not for selling (maybe) someday at a craft show in the distant future. Le sigh. On the other hand I feel very fortunate to have the means to make when inspiration strikes as part of my job. Why then the lost-ness, the whisper? Perhaps I should give Etsy a better try.
Methinks my next project must be decidedly useful.
