Dear Dottie: Prizes
This post is part of the Dear Dottie Sew-Along! See all posts.
You guys, what an amazing response we’ve had to the Dear Dottie sew-along. I’m happy you’re taking the plunge because it’s really so much fun to sew! I’m eager to start my third version next week when our event officially kicks off. Cheers to those of you who have already gotten started!
Today I’m sharing the prizes gifted by Fenceline Fabrics to make our sew-along extra fun. Each week I’ll be giving away a little something special over on Instagram. To be eligible you simply need to:
Post a photo of your Dear Dottie progress with hashtag #DearDottieQuilt
Make sure you follow @FencelineFabrics, @StitchedinColor, and @TheMakingsofJoy.
See, that’s easy! You can sew at your own pace and in your own order. Think of the sew-along schedule as just a suggestion for those of you who like a bit of structure (like me, haha!). Simply post one progress picture on Instagram each week. Multiple photos = multiple chances to win!
The winner will be chosen at random and announced via my Instagram feed.

Fenceline Fabrics’ beautiful seam rippers are handmade by Bob Seymore in Manhattan, Kansas. No more plastic! Choose from necklace or double-sided options. When the seam ripper eventually dulls, replacement heads are available, as are additional head options like needle threaders and stilettos.
A big thanks to Fenceline Fabrics for graciously sponsoring the Dear Dottie sew along! If you need some fabric reinforcements, Fenceline Fabrics has created lots of mini bundles to fill those gaps. Search “Dear Dottie” to see all the bundles or try pattern-related phrases such as “light assortment” to zero in on exactly what you need!
Ok, friends, it’s almost time to launch this thing. Gather those supplies and get ready. I can’t believe that it’s almost November already!
P.S. Acrylic templates are now available, custom made for Dear Dottie. Pick up yours right here. And let me know what you think! This is the first time I’ve worked with TCR Engraving and Graphics.
