All the Concert quilt blocks have arrived from my bee mates in Comfort Circle of do. Good Stitches, plus I’ve made more to round out the collection. Now it’s time to join these blocks to create the quilt top.

Happily, that process is going even better than I had hoped! This is not the easiest block to sew, and differences in seam allowances will show up when I join the blocks, attempting to match stripes. Of course not everything is perfect. Perfection is overrated anyways. But, there is enough consistency to create a very pleasing, very modern effect.

Check it out! This Concert quilt from Quilt Modern Curves & Bold Stripes is going to be a quilt top soon. In fact, I think it’s time to start thinking about a backing. Hm.
