Christmas in the City Giveaway!
Every once in awhile a holiday fabric collection comes along that captures my imagination and inspires me for Christmas sewing. I start dreaming of a festive Christmas quilt or a new Christmas tree skirt or stockings or a cute holiday pillow - - - You know how it goes. The ideas start twinkling like tree lights!
Christmas in the City is Art Gallery Fabric’s holiday line this year, and it’s just so fresh and fun. Come and dream along with me!
This holiday palette is teal and red with an array of pinks and sparkling metallic stars. The prints bring to mind happy holiday memories: presents under the tree, snowmen and ice skates and gingerbread cookies. And can anyone resist those quaint holiday city scenes?
My next quilt will use Christmas in the City and coordinating Art Gallery Fabrics solids and blenders. Art Gallery makes such a project easy to plan, even remotely, with high quality digital lookbooks. Paging through the Christmas in the City spreads helped me to understand the scale and possibilities of the fabrics and to choose coordinating basics.
